Return To Fall Sports Information
Fall Athletes and Families: Beginning on Monday, Aug. 3 (and Aug. 4 & 5…stay tuned for more dates) from 8:00-10:00 our nurses will be here to collect any forms such as updated physicals, etc. They will be stationed outside (weather permitting) with the trainer...enter the 6th street ticket booth entrance and proceed to the tent. Please note that on July 30th the State Assembly passed Bill A4295, which states a student-athlete who has not completed a physical examination within 365 days prior to the first day of official practice in the fall athletic season of the 2020-2021 school year would be permitted to participate in a school-sponsored interscholastic athletic team or squad during that season, provided that the student-athlete completes the physical examination before the end of the athletic season. A student-athlete who qualifies for participation in a school- sponsored athletic activity under the provisions of this bill would be required to complete the health history update questionnaire before the first day of official practice of the fall athletic season of the 2020-2021 school year. If the student-athlete answers in the affirmative to any question included in the health history update questionnaire, then the student-athlete may not participate in the school-sponsored athletic activity until he is further evaluated by a physician. Please call the office if you have any questions.
Fall Athletes: We hope to begin collecting physicals the first week of August. The NJ Assembly is voting on July 30th to extend the life of the Pre-Participation Physical Examinations (Bill A4295) and then the bill will need the approval of the Governor...stay tuned for updates.
