Intermediate students to have their essays on Martin Luther King, Jr. read during the airing of OC's Day of Service

Congratulations to the following Intermediate School students whose essays regarding Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be read during the airing of the City of Ocean City’s Day of Service, January 18th. The students have been videotaped reading their essays. The public can view the ceremony here at www.ocnj.us at any time after 1pm Jan. 18, or on OCTV-97 (Comcast channel 97 for Ocean City residents) at 1pm Jan. 18, 9pm Jan. 19, 7pm Jan. 20, 12pm Jan. 21 or 10am Jan. 23. 

The ceremony includes music, prayer and reflections on Dr. King, the honoring of Ocean City residents with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Services Award, and a recitation of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech by the Rev. Gregory Johnson.
